The project area for BART to Silicon Valley falls within portions of Alameda and Santa Clara counties and stretches over 16 miles from the planned Warm Springs BART Station in Fremont to the cities of Milpitas, San Jose and Santa Clara. The project will extend BART into the heart of Silicon Valley, serving residents and businesses throughout Santa Clara County.   Silicon Valley is in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area and is home to more than one-third of the region’s households and jobs.
